Responsibilities

• Conduct state licensing inspections of child care providers within a specified area.
• Investigate complaints and provide technical assistance to applicants and licensees.
• Initiate enforcement action and participate in hearings as needed.
• Prepare inspection and investigation reports with confidentiality and accuracy.
