Job summary

Open Mind Health is seeking licensed California therapists to provide virtual mental health care to children and adolescents. This 100% remote opportunity requires an active California license and offers $70–$80/hour as a 1099 Independent Contractor with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.

Applicants may reside outside California; however, licensure must be active and California-based clients will be served. Prior experience with youth and telehealth is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist [PsyD/PhD]).
• Experience providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents.
• Ability to maintain a minimum of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to children and adolescents.
• Assess developmental, behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Develop age-appropriate individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers when clinically appropriate.
• Deliver evidence-guided, culturally responsive, client-centered care.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the broader care team as appropriate.
• Practice within applicable professional licensure and regulatory requirements.
