Job summary

Atomic HR is partnering with a US-based accounting firm offering remote tax services. We seek a licensed CPA with 5+ years of preparing and reviewing complex individual and small-business returns, including multi-state filings and entities like S corps, partnerships, and C corps.

You will review AI-prepared returns, determine final sign-offs, and help build QA around the engine. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with the product team to improve accuracy.

Qualifications

• Licensed CPA with 5+ years preparing and reviewing complex returns for individuals and small businesses.
• Experience handling multi-state filings, K-1s, S corps, partnerships and C corps.
• Ability to audit AI-generated outputs and document rationale.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-prepared 1040s, 1065, 1120S, and C-corp returns; decide on signing, returning, or holding.
• Identify and trace errors from document sources, prompts, or schedule logic.
• Define edge-case rules, QA steps, and testing with engineering; mentor junior staff.
