Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related Physical Science field.
• Experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.
• Technical mastery of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
• Safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements (EPA, REACH, FDA).
• Analytical precision in identifying errors in IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-Generated Chemistry: review model responses for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and reasoning.
• Fact-Check Reactions & Formulas: validate reactions, balance equations, and viable synthetic routes.
• Audit Technical Documentation: review lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations for accuracy.
• Annotate Molecular Data: correct SMILES strings, 2D/3D structures, and property predictions.
• Safety Monitoring: ensure outputs do not provide synthesis instructions for hazardous or restricted substances.
