Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry or related Physical Science field.
• Experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academia.
• Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
• Strong safety knowledge (SDS, GHS) and regulatory awareness (EPA, REACH, FDA).
• Ability to explain complex chemistry clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated chemistry for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and reasoning.
• Fact-check reactions, balancing equations, and viable synthetic routes.
• Audit model-generated lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations (NMR, IR, MS).
• Annotate molecular data, correct SMILES strings and 2D/3D representations.
• Ensure AI outputs do not instruct synthesis of hazardous or restricted substances.
