Prolific Academic Ltd is seeking Chemistry Experts and Chemical Engineers to join our Expert Network for training and evaluating AI models using real-world chemical knowledge. A brief 10–15 minute test may be required; successful candidates will be invited to join as participants and paid to complete AI-driven tasks from home.

You will review AI outputs, validate reactions, annotate molecular data, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Pay is up to $60 per hour and tasks are flexible.

Qualifications

• Education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related Physical Science field.
• Experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.
• Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
• Understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements (EPA, REACH, FDA).
• Ability to identify errors in IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.
• Strong communication of intricate chemical concepts clearly and precisely.
• PayPal account required to receive payments.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate AI-generated chemistry for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and reasoning.
• Fact-check reactions and formulas; assess viability and safety of proposed routes.
• Audit model-generated lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations (NMR, IR, Mass Spec).
• Annotate molecular data; correct SMILES and 2D/3D representations.
• Ensure AI outputs do not instruct synthesis of hazardous, illicit, or restricted substances.
