Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Significant experience in process safety management (PSM) and risk assessment.
Proficiency in conducting HAZOP, What-If, and other safety analysis techniques.
Strong understanding of chemical process design and operation, focusing on safety.

Responsibilities

Conduct PHAs, including HAZOP and LOPA, remotely.
Develop and implement safety procedures for chemical processes.
Analyze incident reports and data to identify safety risks and preventative measures.
Coordinate with site engineers and EHS teams via virtual channels to ensure safety compliance.
Stay updated on evolving safety regulations and best practices in chemicals.
Contribute to design of new processes with inherent safety as a focus.
