Job summary

8x8 is seeking an entry level Channel Sales Representative for Microsoft Teams voice in a US remote position. You’ll build a territory of Microsoft ecosystem partners, drive seats lit and recurring revenue, and earn uncapped commissions as you ramp.

You will complete a two-week training sprint, then recruit, activate, and coach partners to produce revenue, with travel expected 50% once ramped. No prior channel experience required; we train you.

Qualifications

• Entry-level, no channel or telecom experience required; training provided.
• Must be hungry, relentless, and coachable with a growth mindset.
• Ability to learn a new market and build a partner network quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and CRM discipline.
• Location in or willingness to relocate to Silicon Valley; in-office 4 days a week when not traveling.
• Willing to travel ~50% of the time after ramping.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and activate Microsoft ecosystem partners (CSP resellers, MSPs, VARs, agencies, distributors).
• Manage full partner sales cycle from first contact to signed agreement and initial lit seat.
• Drive quota for activated partners, seats lit, and monthly recurring revenue; forecast in Salesforce.
• Engage with Microsoft field and partner teams to co-sell and grow partnerships.
• Provide partner training on pricing, ordering, and positioning; coordinate with marketing for campaigns.
• Collaborate across Channel Ops, Order Management, and Billing to ensure clean onboarding and invoicing.
