Job summary

Mimecast is seeking a Channel Account Manager for the Georgia/Florida territory. You will shape and execute Mimecast's reseller strategy across regional and smaller resellers, owning the portfolio's commercial performance and driving partner-generated pipeline and revenue.

You will recruit, onboard, and activate new partners, build joint business plans, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Support to align resources behind partner needs and drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience independently managing a portfolio of channel partners across a defined territory.
• Ability to translate partner business plans into measurable revenue with KPIs.
• Experience delivering enablement programs and partner events.
• Understanding of revenue, margin, and return on investment.

Responsibilities

• Build, gain approval for, and execute a channel business plan aligned with Mimecast's broader business strategy.
• Segment and tier partner portfolio with targets and milestones.
• Recruit, onboard, and activate new partners to close coverage gaps across territory regions and verticals.
• Drive partner-generated pipeline and revenue meeting targets and KPIs.
• Build executive-level relationships with top-tier partners and alliance organizations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Support to align resources behind partner needs.
• Deliver scaled sales and technical enablement through group training and partner events.
• Run quarterly business reviews and report performance insights to leadership.
• Stay current on cybersecurity trends to strengthen partner conversations.
