Job summary

TriSearch seeks a strategic CFO to partner with the CEO and Board, modernize financial operations, and scale a rapidly growing nonprofit with U.S., Latin America, and Europe reach. This remote-friendly role is based in the Miami area with occasional office visits.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in nonprofit finance, CPA and/or MBA, international accounting experience, and a track record building scalable financial systems and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including nonprofit leadership
• CPA and/or MBA required
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit GAAP, audits, Form 990
• International financial experience, fluent English/Spanish

Responsibilities

• Drive financial strategy with CEO and Board to guide growth and sustainability
• Modernize accounting operations and scale systems and processes
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and internal controls
• Manage multi-country finance operations with Latin America and cross-border providers
• Oversee grants, restricted/unrestricted funding, and 990 reporting
• Build and lead the finance team and external accounting partners
