Job summary

Charter Impact is a remote-first, nationwide nonprofit-oriented finance and operations partner. The Director of Client Finance oversees service delivery, acts as outsourced CFO for clients, and ensures timely, accurate financial information.

This leadership role collaborates with accounting teams and aims to deliver exceptional client service. The position requires travel up to 25% and involves mentoring staff, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining knowledge of charter school funding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting highly desired.
• 7 years experience with staff oversight and development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and accounting services for multiple clients.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and reports.
• Prepare budgets and monthly forecasts; provide financial insights.
