Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CFD specialist to help train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks. You will take CAD geometry, set up simulations, build reference solutions, and write Python checks for results.

This fully remote freelance role offers flexible hours (10–20 hours per week during active phases). Compensation can be up to 69 USD per hour, with performance-based bonuses and varied project scopes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Several years of hands-on CFD in industry or research.
• Experience with mesh generation and verification/validation.
• Proficient in Python and GitHub workflows.
• English B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks.
• Set up simulations, run simulations, and build verified reference solutions.
• Write Python checks to validate agent results.
