Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CFD specialist to help train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations. You will handle CAD geometry, configure and run simulations, and build verified reference solutions.

You will write Python checks for the agent's results, perform mesh-independence studies, and contribute to a remote, flexible project schedule. Compensation is up to $69 per hour, with performance-based bonuses across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Multiple years of CFD hands-on experience with OpenFOAM, Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
• Solid verification and validation practices: mesh-independence studies and validation against benchmarks/experiments.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub; English level B2+.
