Job summary

Aitrainer is hiring a CFD Engineer to design engineering challenges that help train AI models in aerodynamics and fluid dynamics. You’ll work remotely, creating precise tasks and problem statements, applying your expertise in computational fluid dynamics.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OpenFOAM and a strong foundation in fluid mechanics. Excellent written communication skills are essential to clearly articulate complex physics concepts.

This role offers freelance flexibility and the potential for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on simulation experience and ability to translate domain knowledge into solvable tasks.
• Comfortable with mesh generation, turbulence modeling, and boundary-condition specification.
• Able to formulate precise, self-contained engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Design compact, self-contained CFD tasks that test AI models.
• Write clear problem statements on boundary-condition selection and simulation setup.
• Develop deterministic scoring checkers to evaluate model answers.

Skills

Hands-on experience with OpenFOAM

Solid foundation in fluid mechanics

Strong written communication skills in English

Education

BSc in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
