The role is a fully remote hourly contract, with 10–40 hours per week. You’ll work independently, contributing to edukational AI content at the intersection of structural engineering and AI research.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required; MS/PhD a plus.
• Applied experience in structural analysis and code-based design.
• Proficiency with OpenSees and seismic/retrofitting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design AI training tasks based on real structural problems.
• Write precise problem statements for AI reasoning about structures.
• Develop deterministic scoring checkers and reference solutions.
• Leverage OpenSees to build realistic tasks and models.
• Evaluate AI outputs for technical accuracy and code conformance.
