Job summary

Prolific is seeking an AI Trainer for Aeronautical Engineers with CAD and Python expertise to join its expert B2B and AI research network. This remote advisory role enables experienced engineers to contribute to AI model training by capturing how design and validation decisions are made.

Responsibilities include designing objects with open-source CAD tools, writing Python validation scripts, and ensuring workflow traceability for model training. Participation depends on client demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with open-source CAD software (FreeCAD, KiCad, or similar).
• Python development experience to write and execute scripts.
• Experience writing validation scripts.
• Comfortable with command line; Linux/Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Paid vetting survey (Prescreener): ~10 minutes, paid at $12/hour.
• Design physical objects suitable for 3D printing using open-source CAD software.
• Complete engineering design tasks with workflow captured to train AI models.
• Write and execute Python validation scripts to support the design workflow.
• Handle tasks across Simple, Moderate, and Complex levels (approx. 4h, 4–24h, 24–40h).
