First American's Mortgage Solutions team is hiring appraisers to support valuation services across the United States. Certified appraisers inside the continental U.S. are encouraged to apply; all positions are remote.

Applicants assess market data, document fieldwork with photos, draw maps, and prepare value estimates per guidelines. A Bachelor's degree and active state appraisal license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0–1 years of related mortgage/appraisal experience.
• Active Appraiser license or certification as required by state.
• Strong analytical and writing skills; ability to summarize results clearly.

Responsabilités

• Conducts unbiased assessments of market areas and data to estimate property value per guidelines.
• Document on-site assessments with photos, measurements, and comparable values.
• Draw land diagrams and visual documentation.
• Consider factors affecting value including land, neighborhoods, trends, and features.
• Generate fee quotes and present evaluations to clients.
• Collaborate with Lead Appraiser to resolve requests and improve processes.
• Participate in monthly Appraiser meetings and meet turn-time targets.
