Logan Health is seeking a Certified Professional Coder for a remote, full-time position. The role involves accurately assigning ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes to outpatient records and abstracting data for tracking and reimbursement.

Responsibilities include billing, collections, and ensuring documentation supports services, with adherence to coding guidelines. Ideal candidates hold a nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA/CCS/CPC or AAPC) and have at least one year of coding experience.

Formación

• ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines knowledge required (basic to advanced).
• Nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA/CCS/CPC or AAPC) is required.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and teamwork skills with ability to work independently.
• Ability to learn new software and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records.
• Abstract essential data for tracking, reporting, and reimbursement.
• Keying, billing, and collections for assigned client databases.
• Ensure documentation supports services and meets regulatory requirements.
• Follow coding guidelines and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
