Logan Health is seeking an experienced Certified Professional Coder to join our remote coding team. The ideal candidate will accurately assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records, abstract essential data, and support billing and reimbursement processes.

Applicants must have at least one year of coding experience and a nationally recognized coding certificate. This full-time remote role offers a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines and practices is required.
• Nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA, CCS, CPC or AAPC) is required.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assigns and sequences ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for various patient types.
• Review records for documentation deficiencies and ensure accurate coding per procedures.
• Communicate with providers and departments to ensure adequate documentation for services.
