Job summary

Sharecare is hiring a Certified Health Coach to work remotely in the United States. You will conduct education, support, and motivation via coaching conversations, following established workflows and documentation standards.

A NBHWC-certified program completion is required, with potential board certification as a plus. The role involves engagement calls, behavior-change coaching, and coordination with a multidisciplinary care team to improve participant health and reduce risk factors.

Qualifications

• NBHWC-certified training completed.
• Active NBHWC board certification a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field required.
• Experience delivering coaching via chat preferred.
• Experience with benchmarks and contact center metrics helpful.
• Proficiency in data entry and MS Office.
• Ability to coordinate telephonic communication while entering data.
• Knowledge of lifestyle topics (smoking cessation, nutrition, etc.).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adaptable to schedule changes; able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Engage inbound/outbound calls to enroll participants.
• Provide one-on-one coaching to reduce high-risk behaviors.
• Contact members enrolled but without a scheduled call.
• Coordinate care with nurses and external vendors.
• Support operational needs to meet client requirements.
• Adhere to schedule and caseload for consistent connectivity.
• Participate in daily and monthly meetings.
• Document progress and efficacy of programs.
