Job summary

Sharecare is seeking a Health Coach to remotely deliver structured coaching for program participants. The role involves inbound/outbound calls, enrollment support, and behavior-change coaching focused on healthier lifestyles.

Training lasts six weeks and adherence to schedules is essential. The position offers a remote, full-time arrangement with a standard hourly compensation market rate and certification incentives.

Qualifications

• Completed NBHWC-certified training program.
• Active NBHWC board certification is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field required.
• Experience delivering coaching via chat is a plus.
• Experience with benchmarks and contact center metrics preferred, including adherence to schedule.
• Proficiency in computer data entry and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to coordinate telephonic communication while navigating software and data entry.
• Knowledge of lifestyle topics (smoking cessation, nutrition, exercise, sleep) desired.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.
• Adaptability to schedule changes.
• Ability to multitask with members and management.
• Hard-wired internet connection is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Engage in telephonic coaching calls (inbound and outbound).
• Inform eligible participants about program offerings and enroll them.
• Provide individualized behavior-change coaching.
• Reach out to enrolled members who miss calls.
• Coordinate services with nurses and external vendors.
• Support operational aspects to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain schedule and caseload for member interactions.
• Participate in daily and monthly meetings.
• Note and track members’ progress and efficacy of the program.
