Mosaic Life Care seeks an experienced CDI RN reviewer to support clinical documentation integrity across admissions. You will perform initial, concurrent, and retrospective reviews, assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes, and collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate documentation of severity of illness and risk of mortality.

The role includes analyzing denials, drafting first and second level appeals with physician input, and participating in training and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 3 years of ICU/critical care experience required.
• 1 year experience in clinical documentation integrity preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conducts initial, concurrent and retrospective reviews of clinical documentation.
• Assigns and updates ICD-10-CM/PCS codes and DRG baselines.
• Identifies need to clarify documentation and queries providers.
• Reviews denials and drafts first/second level appeals with physician advisor.
• Participates in staff training and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate documentation.
• Pursues professional development through webinars and online education.
• Aims to meet CDI quality and productivity goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
