Qualifications

• 3+ years of acute care hospital clinical RN experience or medical graduate with CDI experience and CDI certification (CCDS, CDIP)
• 2+ years of experience communicating & presenting to Physicians
• Proficiency with Windows PC and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to travel 30-40% to client sites

Responsibilities

• Conducts chart audits, quality audits and KPI audits.
• Oversees CDI staff training and orientation, and runs CDI workflows.
• Leads physician education, on-site presentations, and provider outreach.
• Ensures CDI staff reviews inpatient records within 24-48 hours of admit with clear documentation.
• Collaborates with CDI Director and healthcare team to improve documentation quality.
