Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Manager, Clinical Documentation Integrity to oversee the CDI program for Optum 360 clients. This role focuses on improving documentation accuracy, conducting audits, and staff training while aligning with organizational goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Medical graduate with CDI experience and CDI certification or 3+ years acute care RN experience.
• 2+ years communicating and presenting to physicians.
• Proficient in Windows PC environment and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chart, quality, and KPI audits for the CDI program.
• Lead workflow for CDI staff and oversee training/orientation.
• Develop physician teaching and on-site presentations and coach staff.
• Approve timecards and communicate performance expectations to CDI staff.
• Assist CDI Director with projects and reports as needed.
