Job summary

JLL is seeking a Category Manager, Construction Services, to manage Furniture, Flooring & Equipment and Moving categories across the Americas. You will develop category strategies, lead sourcing efforts, and build strong supplier relationships to drive value for clients and internal stakeholders.

The role requires experience in procurement, contract negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on delivering cost efficiencies and strategic insights across multiple sites and time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement-related experience.
• Construction category experience a plus.
• MBA a plus.
• Exemplary knowledge of contracts and contract language; ability to negotiate terms, pricing.
• Subject matter expert for assigned building and construction categories.
• Proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments.
• Expertise in sourcing with ability to manage change.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain category strategies aligned with business goals and stakeholders.
• Lead sourcing, RFP/quotation management, bid analysis and contract approvals.
• Rationalize the supply base and manage supplier performance reviews.
• Use data analytics to strengthen market insights and strategic thought leadership.
• Support PDS sourcing initiatives and the SYNERGY program with training and governance.
• Identify opportunities to develop new policies and procedures and manage stakeholder expectations.
