Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Casualty Evaluator for a remote role open to candidates nationwide, with Colorado as a listed location option. The position handles first and third party auto liability claims with exposure under $50,000 and supports homeowners and medical payment claims.

As part of a collaborative claims team, you will investigate, negotiate, and settle claims, communicate with claimants by writing and phone, and contribute to catastrophe response when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ directly relevant work experience.
• 2 years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel on rare occasions.
• Proficient English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own adjuster role when injury exposure is identified.
• Handle 1st and 3rd party auto liability claims with exposure under $50,000.
• Manage communications in writing, by phone and email.
• Investigate, negotiate, and settle claims; prioritize simple cases.
• Support catastrophe efforts and handle small claims as needed.
• Present cases at settlement conferences when required.
