Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Casualty Evaluator to join our remote claims team. This role owns first- and third-party auto liability claims with exposure under $50,000 across multiple states, including Colorado.

You’ll investigate, negotiate, and settle claims with both represented and unrepresented claimants. The position supports a flexible, remote-first environment with opportunities to progress within the claims organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ related work years.
• 2 years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong decision making ability.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Handle simple to moderate 1st and 3rd party auto liability cases.
• May handle first party Medical payment and PIP.
• Work in a virtual environment with potential office option.
• Manage communications by writing, telephone and email.
• Investigate and settle claims under exposure up to $50,000.
• Present cases in Committee and settle independently where appropriate.
• Travel as needed for role.
• Assist in catastrophes and other related duties.
