Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is hiring an Intensive Case Management (ICM) Caseworker to address safety and wellness barriers for refugees and eligible populations. You will provide strengths-based, client-centered case management for diverse households, coordinating medical, financial, social, and vocational services according to eligibility and program requirements.

This role requires strong relationship-building, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to navigate complex benefit

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Experience in case management with similar populations.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine client eligibility for ICM programming and conduct intake assessments.
• Develop SMART self-sufficiency plans for each client.
• Evaluate client progress every six months and adjust plans as needed.
• Assist clients in navigating healthcare and social service systems; help apply for benefits.
• Conduct community outreach and maintain a network of service providers.
• Maintain documentation in client files and in IRC’s database (ETO).
• Attend trainings and meetings; may supervise volunteers.
