The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Case Aide in Phoenix, AZ to provide trauma-informed services to refugees and qualified immigrants, supporting a positive resettlement and long-term self-sufficiency. The role assists clients with accessing essential services, supports caseworkers, and connects clients to community resources.
The position requires at least a high school diploma and prefers 1+ year of relevant experience, especially with refugee/immigrant populations.

The Case Aide provides trauma-informed services to refugees and other qualified immigrants to support a positive resettlement experience and long-term self-sufficiency. This role assists clients in accessing essential services, supports caseworkers in implementing service plans, and facilitates connections to community resources. The Case Aide plays a vital role in helping clients overcome barriers, stay engaged with their individualized plans, and navigate complex systems while ensuring accurate documentation and strong communication with partners.
High school diploma required;
At least 1 year of relevant experience strongly preferred. Experience working with refugee or immigrant populations preferred.
Valid driver’s license, active insurance policy, and access to reliable transportation. Must possess or be eligible to receive a fingerprint clearance card per Arizona state law.
A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. May require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Must be able to lift 35 to 50 pounds (furniture, household supplies, and food boxes).
