Job summary

Highway is a fast-growing freight tech provider in North America, delivering carrier identity solutions to protect brokers and their networks. This role focuses on engaging carriers and responding to inquiries to boost adoption of Highway’s platform. You will build relationships, ensure responsive carrier support, and help keep the app functioning smoothly.

The role requires some remote work and on-call support after hours, weekends, and holidays. Reports to the Operations Director, Capacity.

Qualifications

Experience in transportation, preferably at a brokerage as a carrier rep or manager.
Comfortable making high volume outbound calls and building carrier relationships.
Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Engages carriers through multiple channels to obtain truck postings and freight quotes.
Performs high-volume outbound calls to build relationships with carriers.
Responds promptly to carrier questions and maintains high level of service.
Maintains and analyzes Highway app performance, addressing issues as needed.
Suggests updates to the application to address bugs and ensure proper operation.
Troubleshoots technical problems and provides solutions for users.
