Job summary

International Rescue Committee (IRC) is recruiting a Career Development Specialist for the National Virtual Program for Professional Advancement (NVPPA). The role supports refugees nationwide through remote intake, PAP development, and navigation for training and credentialing.

You will collaborate with technical units, staff, and external partners to ensure smooth client movement across services. The position emphasizes documentation in ETO, compliance with ORR requirements, and remote service

Qualifications

1-2 years of demonstrated experience in a human services field.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to deliver services remotely across states and time zones.
Experience managing a high-volume caseload.
Ability to research and navigate workforce, education, and social service systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct virtual outreach, intake, and enrollment for eligible participants.
Coordinate with IRC offices, resettlement agencies, and local partners to identify and connect with eligible participants.
Develop an individualized Professional Advancement Plan (PAP)
Provide ongoing navigation by phone and video to help participants access training and credential evaluation and recertification.
Maintain accurate case files in Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) and ensure proper documentation for ORR reporting.
