Job summary

Float Health is seeking a Recurring Care Specialist to coordinate nursing visits, manage high-volume communications, and ensure accurate scheduling for home-based care. You will interface with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients to maintain smooth care delivery across the patient life cycle.

This fully remote role emphasizes proactive problem solving, operational excellence, and collaboration with operations, product, and engineering teams to improve workflows and scalability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized and capable of managing competing priorities with strong time management.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills—clear and empathetic explanations.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Tech-savvy with ability to navigate multiple platforms and learn new tools.
• Mindset geared toward continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Prior experience in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule nursing visits using Float Health's technology and third-party platforms.
• Respond to and manage ~40 Zendesk tickets per shift.
• Answer up to 30 inbound calls per shift from pharmacies, patients, and nurses.
• Schedule and confirm 10–30 patient visits per shift with accuracy and empathy.
• Communicate professionally via phone, email, and text to coordinate care.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and uploaded for visits.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment without losing attention to detail.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track data and share insights.
• Proactively brainstorm process improvements to boost efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain relationships with specialty pharmacies and nursing partners.
