Job summary

Float Health is seeking a highly organized Recurring Care Specialist to coordinate nursing visits and manage high-volume communications for home-based care. You will handle scheduling via proprietary and third-party tools, respond to Zendesk tickets, and support cross-functional teams to improve care delivery, all while maintaining exceptional patient service in a remote US-based role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and strong time management.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills; able to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Technically proficient navigating multiple platforms and learning new tools.
• Mindset geared toward continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Prior healthcare experience or familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule nursing visits using Float Health's proprietary technology and third‑party platforms.
• Respond to and manage approximately 40 Zendesk tickets per shift, with timely resolution.
• Answer up to 30 inbound calls per shift from pharmacies, patients, and nurses.
• Schedule and confirm 10–30 patient visits per shift with accuracy and empathy.
• Communicate professionally via phone, email, and text to coordinate care and confirm scheduling details.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and uploaded for scheduled visits.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to track data, share insights, and provide feedback to streamline operations.
• Proactively brainstorm and communicate potential process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with specialty pharmacies and nursing partners.
