Job summary

Ortus Health is recruiting a Remote Care Coordinator & Administrator to support our remote triage service for NHS GP practices. You will coordinate triage tickets, ensure accurate data in EMIS, SystmOne, and Docman, and route tickets to the right GP. You will also send and track patient questionnaires and maintain governance-compliant records.

The role is fully remote, full-time, with equipment supplied and strong growth opportunities within a dynamic, agile business environment.

Qualifications

• Prior GP practice experience is essential.
• Hands-on experience with clinical systems.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in remote settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for patients and healthcare professionals.
• Confident with office software and computer use.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well in a remote team.
• Calm, accurate, detail-focused approach to prevent slips in workflow.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage incoming triage tickets across GP practices; action within timeframes.
• Record and update triage data across clinical systems (EMIS, SystmOne, Docman).
• Route and reassign triage tickets to the appropriate GP.
• Send patient questionnaires, track completion, and prepare for GP review.
• Maintain accurate records in line with information governance standards.
• Provide general administrative support across Ortus services.
• Liaise with practice staff and clinical team to keep workflows running smoothly and flag issues early.
