Job summary

Amgen is seeking a District Sales Manager to serve health systems in the Orlando, FL region. You will be the clinical liaison to medical professionals, leading district teams, coordinating with Marketing, Finance and other units to drive revenue and patient impact.

The role demands strong managerial experience, deep product knowledge, and the ability to hire, coach, and guide representatives toward meeting sales targets while delivering on Amgen’s mission to serve patients.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent combination of education and experience in Sales/Marketing
• 2+ years of managerial experience
• 2+ years of Sales/Marketing experience
• Ability to lead and develop district teams and cross-functional partners
• Experience with biologics or specialty products is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals
• Collaborate cross-functionally with District Sales Managers, Regional Sales Directors and Corporate Account Managers
• Track marketing messages and programs and provide feedback to district teams
• Hire and develop district teams; manage performance and budgets
• Coordinate district sales meetings and develop local Opinion Leader relationships
