Job summary

MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for fully remote virtual work within our integrated cardiovascular service line. This is a full-time role, with consideration for less-than-full-time for exceptional candidates, and in-person attendance once per calendar year.

The group comprises over 80 cardiologists across multiple regions, offering academic engagement and research opportunities for interested physicians.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified in Cardiology.
• Active Maine/NH medical license or eligible for licensure.
• Minimum 3 years’ ambulatory MD/DO experience.
• HIPAA compliance and patient privacy awareness.
• Proficient use of electronic medical records; Epic preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong computer skills and reliability.
• Independent in virtual care with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely virtual care across remote programs.
• Engage in workflow design, implementation and optimization.
• Offer feedback to leadership and embrace innovation.
• Work independently within a collaborative virtual care environment.
