Remote Cardiologist - Flexible Part-Time Telehealth

Job summary

AllHeart is seeking board-certified cardiologists to provide outpatient cardiovascular care through our virtual platform. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity for physicians who want to expand access to specialty care while maintaining autonomy over their schedules.

The role will mainly involve synchronous video consultations and follow-up visits, with potential for asynchronous reviews and testing interpretations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completed cardiovascular disease fellowship and board certified in IM and CV disease.
• Active U.S. medical license with eligibility for others.
• Experience with telemedicine and virtual outpatient care.
• Ability to work independently within a 1099 contract.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video-based new-patient and follow-up cardiology visits.
• Evaluate cardiovascular symptoms and conditions and provide management plans.
• Provide risk assessment, second opinions, and longitudinal care.
• Review labs, imaging, ECGs, and other diagnostic data.
• Order appropriate tests and monitoring as clinically indicated.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and communicate with patients and clinicians.
• Provide asynchronous services when applicable (chart review, e-consults, messaging).
• Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, and vascular studies when trained.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per standards.
• Collaborate with care-team for continuity of care.
• Follow protocols for urgent symptoms and care coordination.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical education activities.
• Offer feedback to improve virtual-care workflows and patient experience.
• Maintain independent clinical judgment; AI tools support—not replace—physician decisions.
