Job summary

Hearst Magazines, in partnership with Bring a Trailer, seeks a Production Specialist to organize seller data and photos, coordinate updates, and serve as the primary seller contact before auctions. The role prioritizes clear communication, accuracy, and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage a high-volume listings workflow, collaborate across teams, and contribute to process improvements while supporting the automotive content community.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer support, content production, or related field.
• Strong writing and editing to present detailed information clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with customer-first mindset.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Discretion with sensitive information; build stakeholder trust.
• Interest in collector cars is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare auction listings by organizing seller-submitted data and photos in accordance with Bring a Trailer standards.
• Coordinate with sellers and internal teams to incorporate updates and ensure listing accuracy and completeness.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers during the pre-auction phase, delivering timely and professional communication.
• Provide high-quality customer support by answering questions, offering guidance, and addressing concerns with empathy.
• Manage and prioritize a high-volume pipeline of listings at various stages to meet daily production goals.
• Track listings through internal systems and act as the subject matter expert on each listing’s history.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a smooth transition from listing creation to auction launch.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvements as needed.
