Job summary

Hylant in the United States is seeking a Captive Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of captive insurance clients, ensuring timely financial reporting, regulatory filings, and client service. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Professional designations (CPA, CPCU, ACIA, ARM, ACI) preferred but not required.
• Ability to apply insurance knowledge to prepare policies, invoices and client docs.
• Minimum 1 year of captive insurance, insurance accounting or auditing experience.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel for meetings.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of captive insurance clients with varying reporting and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements accurately and within established deadlines.
• Complete regulatory filings and submissions required by captive domiciles.
• Coordinate with auditors, actuaries, attorneys, regulators, and other service providers.
• Ensure client entities remain compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
• Assist with board meeting preparation and presentation materials.
• Support business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to support department initiatives and knowledge sharing.
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
