Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Capital Project Scheduler to join our team. This role will develop and manage integrated schedules for capital projects across the lifecycle, collaborating with engineering, construction and cost teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Candidates should have 5+ years of heavy industrial scheduling in Power Generation, Refining or Chemical Plants, be proficient in Primavera P6 (and Microsoft Project preferred), and be able to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy industrial Power Generation, Refining and/or Chemical Process Plant project scheduling experience.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Based in US time zones (Central or Eastern preferred) and able to commute to facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop fully integrated project schedules across all phases, with cross-functional teams.
• Provide guidance on schedule structure, level of detail, and coordination to support execution.
• Build and maintain schedule logic, sequencing, and hierarchy aligned with plans.
• Establish and track key schedule metrics and benchmarks to monitor progress.
• Evaluate schedules for feasibility and competitiveness throughout the lifecycle.
• Determine resource loading, apply data, and highlight constraints.
• Perform schedule risk analyses and recommend mitigations.
• Lead schedule review/status meetings and deliver timely updates.
• Develop and communicate clear schedule reports and insights for decision-making.
• Partner with engineering, construction, and cost teams to track progress and support change-management.
