Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Capital Project Scheduler to join our team. This role focuses on developing and managing fully integrated project schedules for capital projects, collaborating with engineering, construction, and cost teams to ensure on‑time delivery across project lifecycles.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of heavy industrial scheduling experience in Power Generation, Refining, or Chemical plants, are proficient with Primavera P6, and can travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of heavy industrial Power Generation, Refining and/or Chemical Process Plant project scheduling experience for total project lifecycle through Front end engineering through construction
• Proficient user of Oracle’s Primavera (P6) scheduling software
• Ability to travel (up to 25%)
• Candidates must be based within the Central (CT) or Eastern (ET) time zones and be able to commute to any Chemours facilities within the region
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence multiple levels within and outside Chemours

Responsibilities

• Develop fully integrated project schedules across all phases, functions, and activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Provide expert guidance on schedule structure, level of detail, and coordination to support efficient project execution
• Build and maintain schedule logic, sequencing, and hierarchy aligned with project plans
• Establish and track key schedule performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor progress
• Evaluate schedules for accuracy, feasibility, and competitiveness throughout the project lifecycle
• Determine resource-loading requirements, apply resource data to schedules, and highlight critical resource constraints
• Perform critical path and schedule risk analyses, identifying deviations and recommending mitigation strategies
• Lead schedule review/status meetings and deliver timely schedule updates per the schedule management plan
• Develop and communicate clear schedule reports and insights that support decision‑making
• Partner with engineering, construction, and cost engineering teams to track progress, assess earned value, and support change‑management processes
