Job summary

5C Data Centers is seeking a Sr. Manager of Capital Equipment Procurement to lead end-to-end sourcing for power, electrical, and cooling equipment powering our AI factory and North American data centers.

You will own RFP development, supplier evaluation, contracting, and logistics, and partner with engineering, quality, construction, and operations to translate deployment schedules into executable procurement plans.

Qualifications

10+ years of supply chain leadership experience in capital equipment, infrastructure, or data center environments.
10+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or capital equipment procurement roles.
Experience scaling supply chain operations in startup/high-growth environments.
Deep expertise in data center power, electrical, and cooling equipment supply chains.
Experience ERP/MRP implementations and inventory planning.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end RFP and procurement strategy for capital equipment.
Own RFP lifecycle from bid evaluation through contracting.
Establish quarterly business reviews with key suppliers to drive accountability on delivery, quality, cost and capacity.
Lead material planning and forecasting aligned to deployment schedules; drive ERP/MRP maturation.
Coordinate logistics, OFCI commissioning, and closeout documentation for smooth handover to construction/operations.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and drive cost initiatives with dashboards and KPIs.
