Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr DC Capex Procurement Manager to own end-to-end sourcing for energy infrastructure and data center expansion in the Americas. You will lead category strategies across EPC services, long-lead equipment, and balance-of-plant scope supporting data center delivery.

Collaborate with engineering, legal, finance, and operations to align procurement with capital plans and customer timelines.

Qualifications

Experience in oil & gas, utility, or energy sectors preferred.
Deep knowledge of pipeline infrastructure scoping and EPC procurement.
Familiarity with O&M contracting models and lifecycle cost management.
Proven ability to source capital-intensive equipment (transformers, gas turbines, etc.).
Track record of managing complex supplier portfolios and driving performance improvements.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute end-to-end category strategies for energy infrastructure and power generation procurement.
Lead negotiations for long-term supply agreements, EPC contracts, and long-lead equipment.
Build strategic supplier relationships and design performance scorecards and accountability frameworks.
Conduct market intelligence to identify cost-reduction levers and supply-chain risks.
Drive procurement process improvements and scalable programmatic frameworks.
