Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year in a commercial kitchen or related training.
• At least 1 year in commercial housekeeping.
• Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification required or obtainable on hire.
• Pre-employment testing may include drug screen, physical and fitness assessments.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
• Must be able to stand for 12 hours per shift.
• Residence in dormitory-style housing and English literacy required.

Aufgaben

• Assist cooks and coordinate activities in a food service area.
• Prepare food and cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, and meats.
• Stock various food service areas and materials.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and cookware and store properly.
• Maintain sanitation in dining, kitchen, and storage areas.
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors; wash and wipe surfaces.
• Transport waste to disposal areas as required.
• Assist with periodic large cleaning projects and laundry duties.
• Follow safety guidelines and report hazards.
