Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Kitchen Helper for remote camp locations in Alaska. The role involves maintaining sanitation standards, assisting cooks, preparing a range of foods, stocking service areas, and cleaning dishes and equipment.

You will work in a fast-paced industrial kitchen with routine safety requirements and occasional extended shifts. Candidates must have at least one year of kitchen experience or vocational training, and obtain an Alaska Food Workers Card or ServSafe

Formación

• At least one year of work experience in a commercial kitchen or related training.
• Must obtain Alaska Food Workers Card or ServSafe Certification on hire.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety guidelines.
• Able to stand for up to 12 hours per shift and live in dormitory-style accommodations.
• Contract requires English reading/writing and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Assist cooks and coordinate activities within the food service area.
• Prepare food and cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, and meats.
• Stock food service areas and maintain sanitation of kitchens and dining spaces.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment; manage storage areas.
• Follow safety standards and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist with periodic large cleaning projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned.
