Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is hiring a Remote Cook’s Helper for a remote camp assignment near the North Slope, with a 3-week on/3-week off schedule and 12-hour shifts. The role requires physical stamina, English proficiency, and the ability to work in a team in a dining/kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include assisting cooks, preparing meals, cleaning, stocking, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met. Dormitory-style housing and travel to remote locations may be involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial kitchen food prep and cleaning processes preferred.
• Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification required or upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with food prep and serving duties.
• Prepare and cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, and related items.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in dining, kitchen, and storage areas.
• Operate and sanitize equipment; follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with large cleaning projects and break down/set up tables and serving lines.
• Occasionally perform housekeeper/janitorial duties; work as part of a team.
