Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, plus formal training or equivalent experience.
• At least five (5) years of directly related restaurant cooking experience with high-volume production and supervisory techniques.
• Ability to instruct and train staff and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have or obtain Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Select and develop recipes based on type of food and apply knowledge in food preparation.
• Cook or prepare food according to recipes.
• Prepare, cook, and serve meats, sauces, vegetables, soups, and other foods.
• Carve meats and ensure safety and sanitation in work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and comply with safety policies.
