Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC seeks a Remote Cook to oversee daily food production, stocking, presentation, and sanitation in an Arctic camp setting in Alaska. The role requires supervising a staff of 30+ employees and ensuring safety, quality, and timely meal service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.

The candidate must have at least five years of related cooking experience, be able to stand for long shifts, and obtain Alaska Food Workers Card or ServSafe certification on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of directly related restaurant cooking experience which demonstrates a working knowledge of high volume food production, food service production, food service positions, equipment, and supervisory techniques.
• Must have or obtain an Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification upon hire.
• Must pass all pre-employment contract requirements which may include but are not limited to: background check and UA drug test.
• Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Performs main line food production duties for assigned shift.
• Assists supervisors with menu and recipe development.
• Monitors and replenishes salad bar and pantry production items with proper rotation.
• Cooks breakfast, lunch or dinner items and related food products.
• Prepares and stocks items for serving areas and presentation.
