Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of baking experience in high-volume settings.
• Ability to train and supervise others while multitasking under pressure.
• Must obtain Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe certification on hire.
• Pass pre-employment checks including background and UA drug test.
• Team player able to work with diverse staff and clients.
• Must stay on your feet for long shifts and work in a remote camp.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary bakery and food production duties during assigned shift.
• Prepare and bake a wide variety of bakery goods in a remote camp kitchen.
• Review daily needs with supervisors and complete production sheets.
• Assist in menu and recipe development with the kitchen leadership.
• Monitor and rotate stock, ensuring freshness and proper prep.
• Cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, and related items as required.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of prep areas and equipment.
• Supervise staff either directly or through lead personnel.
