Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation seeks a Remote Breakfast Baker to support production, bakery goods, and service lines in a remote camp setting in Alaska. You will train staff, prepare a wide variety of bakery items, and ensure preparation sheets and inventories are accurate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of restaurant cooking/baking experience with supervisory techniques.
• Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification.
• Pass pre-employment requirements (drug test, physical, fit for duty, hearing test).
• Ability to train others and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team player; able to work with customers and staff.
• Must stand for 12 hours per shift and live in remote camp dormitory.
• Must meet safety guidelines and speak/read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Perform main line food production duties per shift.
• Cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, bakery items, and beverages.
• Prepare and produce bakery goods in remote camp settings.
• Complete production sheets and manage inventory/replenishment.
• Supervise and train food service personnel.
• Ensure proper rotation and sanitation of prep areas.
• Assist with menu and recipe development.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen and service areas.
• Serve in service line when needed.
• Handle special food preparation and cleaning projects.
